I guess you can call me a “late bloomer”!  Wanting to sing & perform since the age of 9, I am finally taking the time to do what I enjoy most!

I have been Songwriting since July 2005 and performing locally since early 2005.  I enjoy writing songs inspired by life, love and having fun.  My writing style leans in the direction of Folk, Country & Bluegrass.

I grew up with the influence of Country music. Countless weekend BBQ’s included my step dad playing guitar and singing.  My favorite singer/songwriter is:  Dolly Parton and my favorite song is:  Coat of Many Colors.

I am a member of the Inland Northwest Bluegrass Association (INBA) and the Spokane Songwriter Circle.  The Kiwanis, Folklore Society & Old Time Fiddlers Association are a few other great organizations and they are a wonderful support to local talent.

I perform with a group called “Bruised Orange” (John Prine & Other Delights).  We are a lighthearted group that likes to have FUN!  I am a back up vocalist and sing harmony.   I am in the planning stage of recording my first CD and working on publishing my first children’s book.  I am not sure which will be completed first, but anxious to complete something!

My goals are to continue singing, songwriting, learning guitar and playing music with others.  I am thankful for every opportunity I have to play music and hope to stay inspired.
