Thanks Frank....
I thought it was time I come home a bit...at least in spirit...sitting in this hoaky little Michigan town in the middle of subzero temps and snow...
I have spent the day in the recording studio. Our CD is nearly complete and we are refining the mix...We are proud of this effort...the songs being of some cajun cheer, some Hurricane Katrina passion and some free spirited musings with guitar, piano, flute, hang, and didgeridoo... We are hopeful of a profitable release with the music accompanying a video and the soon to be published book about Hurricane Katrina...What a project it has been...
Just wanted to say thank you Frank...you mean everything to me...!
For clarification...in about 1971, I was maybe 10 or 11...My mom signed me up for the Big Brother's of America program. Frank became my Big Brother. He taught me a love for music and how to play...He was there for me for years...still is...about 35 to be exact....From Frank, I learned how to play and find the energy of the musicians I was creating with....from Frank I learned how to listen and flow with the music...from him I learned that simpler is better....Just wanted to share what this man gave me...and how as I listen to the final mix of my music...how thought tendrils find there way westward...towards my brother in tunes...thanks.
Thanks Big Bro!
